Property and Portfolio Assessments

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

― Aristotle

Adaptability Canada is one of the few national firms capable of scaling to meet the requirements for the assessment of large real estate portfolios. Our assessment methodology delivers an options-based set of reports and data that deliver findings, insights and recommendations at the property and portfolio level.

In the end, our assessments are about discovery. Discovering what we do not know and discovering what we have known all along but have ignored. Only then can positive change begin.

Property Assessment Report

Designed to arm planning with a comprehensive set of insights and recommendations, this highly detailed, image intense assessment delivers all safety, compliance and service related improvements on a specific property. This information is backed by an expansive data set including: measurements, 100s/1000s of images, field notes, and audio/video files.

Cost Estimation

Designed for quick reference by project coordinators and building management, this excel-based document provides a prioritized list of line items from the detailed report complete with “D” class cost estimates.

Project Summary Report

A summary of improvements assembled into projects complete with marked up imagery, project cost/timeline estimates for better capital and operational planning.

Portfolio Reports

Custom reports covering elements of a portfolio across hundreds of properties, such as washrooms, signage/wayfinding or physical barriers to access. These reports arm capital planning to take initiative across entire portfolios or regions to make sweeping improvements to accessibility. Further, these reports arm the organization with methods to leverage cost efficiency in the purchase of materials, products and labour with suppliers.
